This booklet is about a delicious recipe for Tantuni, but it is also about experimenting with letters and creating a clear visual to immediately understand what it is about.

You can see on the side my lay-out for the different pages from my fold up Tantuni poster. I tried to play with a lot of different techniques to create a visual without using any images or none typographic elements. Each of the pages is about a different ingredient, and at the end there is a recipe and a way to serve it.

Tantuni is one of my favourite Turkish street foods, and that why I chose to do this project about Tantuni. We had to make a booklet/poster of something that had happened on your birthday in the country of your buddy. But my birthday is on 09/11 and even though it wasn’t in the same year there was still a lot of talk about terroristic act and I don’t want to do a fun project about that. So I am doing it about Tantuni, a recipe that is only made in a few cities and one of them being me home town in the Netherlands. If you ever come to visit Deventer go to the Saturday market and order Tantuni, you won't regret it
